In addition to the ethics mandates applicable to the Commission in the Public Officers Law, the Commission has adopted a Code of Ethics for its members. The code was adopted in 2006 and filed with the State Ethics Commission, which was succeeded by the State Commission on Public Integrity, which itself was succeeded by the Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE).
